1min Speach of Neuchatel★

I’m going to talk about Neuchatel. Have you ever heard Neuchatel? There located on west of Switzerland, and near the border of France. So there are a lot of French people in there. Neuchatel is famous for watches. There seems mecca of watches, and recently there are called “Watch Valley”. Of course there are famous for wine too!!

Switzerland has a rich natural environment, so there has a few flat lands. But it’s not only bad thing. There are many farmers who grow grapes that used sunny slope of mountains and a hill near the lake as a field. That grape fields are made at rolling landform and it looks like a mosaic, so that beautiful scene is Neuchatel’s nice point.

Oktoberfest Held in German★

Oktoberfest has been held in Munich, Germany. This festival is known as the largest beer festival all over the world. In 1810, it had held first time, so it will have been past 200years in 2010. So then, there will have hold 200th anniversary. Every year, there are about 6,000,000people joined from all over the world and it held in the latter of September to October’s first Sunday’s 16days. This festival’s participation cost is free but you should pay money when you buy some food or ride some attraction.


Germany is famous country as good production country of beer, so there are many kind of famous beer company in there. In Oktoberfest, there are permitted only Munich company to offer. Beer which used in this festival is called OKTOBERFEST BEER and it made from a lot of hop, so it contained higher alcohol than normally one. Because of that, there permitted beer company is only 6 (Spaten, Augustiner, Paulaner, Hocker-Pschorr, Hofbräu, Löwenbräu).


If you’ll go this festival, I recommend you to wear Bayern’s folk costume. In this festival, most people wearing folk costume. For example, women wearing check, stripe, floral design one-piece dress, on the other hands, men wearing leather half pants. This custom is similar to Japanese culture which we wearing Yukata in summer festival. And there are Fruhlingfest in April to May at same place. It’s like a small Oktoberfest. I can’t drink beer now, but someday I want to go to see this festival.

Paco and The Magical Book& Bridget Jone's Diary

I watched three movies in my summer vacation. I watched Hana yori Dango Final, Detroit Metal City and Paco and The Magical Book. Above all, I recommend you to Paco and The Magical Book. Do you know this movie? It’s Japanese movie and now you can watch it at the movie theater if you want.

This movie’s stage is certain hospital where gathered many odd person. Main character’s Onuki is everyone hated old man. One day, he met Paco who can save the only a day memory. Then he didn’t know about her disease and he thought she must did something bad so he had hit her cheek. But next day, she remembered having touched her cheek by Onuki. From then on, Onuki is changing through some incident.

This movie is mixed a live-action and CG so it’s so colorful and cute and dreamy!! Have you ever watched Memories of Matsuko or Kamikaze Girls ? Those two movie was made same director as Paco and The Magic Book. His name is Tetsuya Nakashima. His movie is so funny and moved so I like his movie very much. When I watched this movie, I was laughed very much but also I was moved to tears. This movie reminds me about importance of pure heart and goodness of doing something for someone. So I recommend you to watch this movie.

Next, I recommend Bridget Jones’s Diary. Have you watched it before? It have been sold 1&2. By the way, I watched both of that. This movie’s main character is Bridget Jones who is 32 years old, a little fat, single woman. One day, she started to go on a diet no smoking and temperance for getting good boy friend. She has plenty of push but generally she can’t keep challenging. So she decided to keep a diary. This movie is such woman’s real life of work and love.

She is ironside woman but she had a mistake often. So, most women feel sympathy with her. I’m one of them too. If you are woman, when you watched this, maybe you could feel some feeling and experience you must have ever had. If you are men, please watch it to know about real women.
